I’m an artist and writer living in Brittany, France. In addition to painting, writing, and printmaking, I also run an arts and culture travel company, Artdip, which brings international artists to central Brittany in order to enrich the local community and give visitors a chance to be inspired by the Breton way of life.
I work primarily in oil paint and charcoal, but I also love water media and printmaking. My current interest is in exploring the varieties of female experience, particularly those which fall outside of predominate social norms, such as: solitude, masking, embodied experience, intense emotion, liberation through purposeless joy, and deriving power through shame.
My fiction has been published in Mud Season Review and the Inverted Syntax Fissured Tongues series. I lead a writing group out of my studio and organize multilingual writing activities and retreats in my area.
